Will eBay Buyers Receive Fewer Feedbacks?

I just had my first experience posting feedback to a buyer under the new eBay feedback system, where sellers can no longer leave neutral or negative feedback.

I think we'll likely see that some sellers won't bother posting feedback unless they're contacted by the buyer to do so. Of course,  sellers still want to see their feedback numbers grow, but if buyers are posting feedback anyway, do sellers have as much incentive to post reciprocal feedback?

I'm not saying it isn't a nice thing to do, just that with all the things sellers have to do, it's one thing that they may let fall through the cracks.

It was funny to be presented with the new feedback options: positive, or will leave feedback later.

Before and after leaving the feedback, I got a message like this: "Sellers can no longer leave negative or neutral Feedback for buyers. Buyers should leave honest Feedback without the fear of receiving negative or neutral ratings. Read more."

It reminded me of the old saying, when we want your opinion, we'll give it to you.

Ah well...we'll see how things shake out in the coming weeks.

Opi's Nic's Sticks nail polish, one of Oprah's Summer Picks

Oprah did a show on Friday about her favorite things for summer. One of her picks is something I'd like to try too..it's a nail polish you can apply like a pen..called Nic's Sticks by Opi.

People were gushing over this one.  Gayle King said it retails for $7, but I found some auctions starting at $0.99 on eBay.

Let's see what we can dig up on the web:

Clean 'n' Green: My New omop

OK, this has nothing to do with eBay per se -- although you'd think you could buy one on there. Heres a product I really love. It works well, its fun (my son
recently was playing with it as some kind of swordlike
object..fortunately its not sharp!), and with re-useable pads, its
good for the environment.

Its made by Method, a company that makes
other good, environmentally sound products, so thats a good sign.
Heres a photo of my Omop and the pad I bought with it, as well as the
little pamphlet.

Neat, huh?

(You may need to scroll down a bit to see the mop head).

I've included the neat lil' cloth mop pad separately in the picture so you could see it. It just attaches like velcro to the mop..you just slap it on there...no poking in the wet or dry pad like with Swiffer (because yes, we're all that busy that taking five to ten seconds to stuff those pads in the slits of the Swiffer mop bottom is a nuisance..lol).

If you want to buy the thing via amazon, you can go to there via my affiliate link below.

CouponCabin

I got an email a while back from Kevin of CouponCabin. I've been meaning to put it in my newsletter, Yard Salers, at www.yardsalers.net, but now that food prices have spiked so high, and everyone is worried about prices in general, I figure this is a good time to catch up.

Eyeballing the site, I see coupons to a few places I already shop regulary...$5 off a $50 Target online order (I don't know about you but I tend to go into Target to get one thing, and walk out with a cart full). Maybe I'd be more restrained ordering from them online. VistaPrint, Home Depot, Weight Watchers, etc.

Here's part of the letter:

CouponCabin.com (www.couponcabin.com) is a leading online site for consumers
